Job Overview
The University of Hyderabad is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I under the DIA-CoE project titled “Manning & Operations of ACRHEM Equipment.” The selected candidate will work in analytical laboratory operations involving advanced scientific instruments such as NMR, XRD, GC-MS, FTIR, DSC, and bomb calorimeters. - Name of the Post: Project Associate -IІ
- Number of positions: 01
- Fellowship / Honorarium / Stipend in Rs.: Rs. 33,000/- (per month)
- HRA, if applicable: 30% of remuneration per month or as applicable.
- Tenure of the Post: From the date of appointment till 30.09.2026
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential Qualifications: Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Physics, Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Physics, or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in R&D in industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
- Operational experience with more than one of the following instruments: NMR, XRD, GC-MS, FTIR, Impact/Friction sensitivity tester, Elemental analysis instrument, bomb calorimeter, DSC.
- Desirable Qualifications: Should be able to independently manage the Analytical Lab.
- Age Limit: 50 years
Additional Information
- Tenure: Contract is for the period specified. However, the selected candidate may be re-engaged for subsequent terms based on performance and the requirements of the Center. The appointment will be on an ad hoc basis and can be terminated at any time during the contract period with one month’s notice from either side.
- Mode of Selection: A shortlisting will be done based on the essential and desirable qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview. The date of the interview will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through email. Only shortlisted candidates shall attend the interview at their own cost.
