Position Details:
This Research Fellow Job is offered under a sponsored research project at BITS Pilani Goa Campus. The project focuses on chemical looping combustion systems for heat generation and CO capture. Candidates selected through BITS Pilani Recruitment will contribute to Chemistry Research involving combustion, heat transfer, CFD, and reactor system design
while working closely with faculty researchers in a collaborative academic environment.- Title: Institute Research Fellow
- Project Title: “Design and Demonstration of a Finned Tubular Reactor System for Chemical Looping Combustion (CLC) Based Heat Generation and CO Capture.”
- Principal Investigators: Prof. Amol A. Deshpande (Dept. of Chemical Engineering) and Prof. Nilesh D. Pawar (Dept. of Mechanical Engineering)
- Broad Area of Research: Combustion, Heat Transfer, Chemical Looping, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Duration of the Project: Two years
- Fellowship Amount (Rs.): Rs. 37,000 per month
- Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided, subject to availability, and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate/Post Graduate (M.Tech/ M.E./ B.Tech/ B.E.) in Chemical and allied streams with minimum 60% Marks.
