Qualifying Examination:
(i) Technical Trainee: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) – Civil / Environmental / Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical / ECE / Biomedical Engineering / Water Resources / Remote Sensing / GIS / Hydrology, Or Equivalent Qualification(s)
(ii) Scientific Trainee: Master’s Degree in Science (M.Sc.) Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Science / Chemistry / Environmental Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Toxicology Or equivalent qualification(s), with First Division on a full-time regular basis from a recognized university / Institution completed in the year 2023 or later.
Candidates having a qualifying score of GATE/NET- 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 will be preferred. In case of equal GATE/NET Score/ Percentile of multiple candidates, the candidate with a higher percentage in the qualifying examination shall determine their merit positions.
Stipend (Duration of Engagement Period)
- 1st Year = Rs. 25,000/- per month
- 2nd Year = Rs. 26,500/- per month
- 3rd Year = Rs. 28,000/- per month
* Tentative distribution of Trainees between Technical (Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering) and Scientific (Master’s Degree in Science) shall be in the ratio of 10:01
Mandatory Information:
-
- Candidates must only apply online through the website (dpcc.delhi.gov.in) as per the link provided therein. Application in physical form or any other form will not be accepted/ entertained and will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- The Trainees will be selected on the basis of merit to be prepared as given below:-
- (i) Merit based on qualifying GATE/NET scores from the year 2023 examination or later.
- (ii) In case sufficient candidates are not available under Merit (i), Merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination passed in the year 2023 or later.
Note: The final Merit List shall be prepared by first placing the GATE/NET qualified candidates in order of merit and followed by candidates in the merit list based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
Mandatory Information:-
- The applicant should have passed the requisite qualifying examination in the year 2023 or later before selection.
- GATE/NET marks obtained and the qualified examination passed in the year 2023 or later, copies of the Mark Sheet are to be attached.
- A panel of wait-listed candidates shall be prepared for considering their engagement depending upon the vacancies arising in the respective categories. The panel shall be valid for a period of one year from the date of the final result on the DPCC website by way of office order.
- The Trainees shall be engaged initially for six months, and after giving one day break, their tenure can be extended for further spells of six months, upto maximum period of 03 years, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Reservation for SCs, STs, OBC (NCL) Delhi, EWS, and PwBD will be applicable as per the Rule/Guidelines of GNCTD / DoPT issued from time to time in this regard. The candidates shall attach the valid Caste Certificate along with the application for availing reservation under the respective reserved categories.
- The number of Trainees (Technical and Scientific) to be engaged and their ratio are tentative and may be increased/ decreased as per the requirements.
- DPCC reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and not to proceed with the matter for the engagement of Trainees at any stage without assigning any reason.
- Trainees shall not claim any regular/permanent employment on the basis of their said engagement.
- Candidates who have served as Trainees earlier with DPCC are not eligible to be re-engaged.
