This position involves composite manufacturing process execution, material validation, operational testing, and process optimization for aerospace applications. Candidates will work on filament winding, prepreg lamination, resin formulation, and composite testing activities while collaborating with production, quality, and R&D teams. Key Responsibilities
- Execute and validate composite manufacturing processes, including:
- Filament winding (roving, slit tape, tow prepreg)
- Prepreg lamination and curing process optimization
- Support new material validation for resins and prepregs
- Conduct operational trials and process improvement activities
- Evaluate composite test samples and identify defects
- Prepare trial reports, process documentation, and validation records
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and R&D teams for project execution
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to NPD/R&D in vacuum bagging or prepreg composite manufacturing
- Hands-on experience in filament winding processes
- Knowledge of resin formulation for CFRP composite manufacturing
- Awareness of composite testing standards and defect analysis
