Job Overview:
Lupin Careers has announced new Research Associate Jobs at its Pune R&D facility. The role involves performing routine analytical testing using chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, and other laboratory techniques. Selected candidates will work on analytical method transfer activities, maintain laboratory records through LIMS, assist in equipment calibration and validation, and ensure laboratory safety and compliance. should possess strong analytical laboratory knowledge and familiarity with pharmaceutical testing procedures.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine tests and experiments on samples using laboratory instruments and equipment including chromatography, spectroscopy, titration, and other analytical methods.
- Perform the analytical method transfer to different sites.
- Update analysed results in LIMS and inform supervisor to review and validate LIMS results.
- Detect exceptions or deviations in test results and highlight report to concern. Proactively communicate to lab in charge for any abnormal samples or non-receipt of routine sample as per schedule.
- Assist in the calibration, validation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure validity of test results.
- Dispose left over samples safely as per laboratory practices and procedures.
- Conduct inspection of received routine samples and distribution of samples as per type of analysis to the different sections of the laboratory.
- Workplace Safety, Audit & Compliance. Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and guidelines at all times and ensure personnel as well as the safety of assets.
- Handle hazardous materials, chemicals with utmost care and dispose as per the set guidelines, protocols.
- Keep self-familiarized with the industry regulations, standards, and protocols and ensure all lab activities comply with these requirements.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Group Leader.
Education:
- Master’s in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry
Work Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of relative experience.
