Job Overview:

ExxonMobil Careers has announced new Chemistry Jobs for the role of PS&RA Operation Advisor at its Bangalore office. The role focuses on regulatory reporting, product stewardship, product safety compliance, SDS management, and chemical regulation activities. Candidates applying for these Regulatory Affairs Jobs will support compliance programs involving REACH, TSCA, poison centre notifications, product registrations

, and regulatory documentation while coordinating with global teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and registrations
  • Analyse poison centre notifications and product registration requirements
  • Analyse SDS distribution gap reports and support corrective actions as applicable
  • Add local regulations (German Water hazard class, Nordic country & Switzerland registration details in SDS sec #15 > Regulatory information to finalize country specific SDSs as applicable
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to product safety and compliance
  • Manage country‑specific or regional reporting obligations
  • Answer questions from external customers and colleagues related to Product safety regulations
  • Drive continuous process improvement by reinforcing best practices and identifying enhancement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Skills Required: 

  • Experience with REACH, TSCA, WGK other chemical management regulations in various world areas
  • Previous product stewardship or regulatory compliance experience
  • Good command of English language (written and spoken) and computer literacy
  • Product knowledge from chemicals/ Lubricants/Oil & Gas industries as well as product stewardship experience would be beneficial
  • Ready to relocate to Bangalore/ Bengaluru (Morning shift) – Office based
  • 5-10% travel (domestic and international)

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications / Excel advanced skills
  • Working with 3rd parties
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into informed insights
