Job Description

Eligibility Norms
Essential Qualification/Experience as per the Norms: PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Life sciences, Nanosciences, etc., with 0-2 years of relevant postdoctoral experience from a reputed institute with a good academic track record in terms of research and publications. Candidates with direct relevance to biosensing will be given preference.
Desirable Qualification/Experience
- Design, synthesize, and functionalize tetrahedral DNA nanostructures (TDNs) and engineer them into programmable biosensing platforms.
- Develop and optimize electrochemical biosensing strategies for ultrasensitive nucleic acid detection.
- Perform surface modification, biofunctionalization, and signal amplification strategies for enhanced sensing performance.
- Interface nanostructured biosensing platforms with biological samples (e.g., serum, plasma, or cell-derived samples) for validation.
- Utilize advanced characterization techniques such as electrochemical analysis (CV, EIS, DPV), AFM, DLS, SEM/TEM, fluorescence spectroscopy, and related tools.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare scientific reports, and contribute to high-impact publications and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and engage with academic/clinical partners for translational aspects of the project.
