Job Description
CSIR-NEERI invites applications for the temporary position of Project Associate (PAT-I) under the project “Environmental Audit of Food Waste Slurry Plant at Baner-Pune (CNP-3009)”. The role involves conducting site visits, sampling, conducting literature surveys, preparing presentations, and writing reports. The appointment will be purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and sampling related to solid waste management.
- Carry out literature surveys for project-related studies.
- Prepare technical presentations and project reports.
- Support the project leader in achieving project objectives.
- Maintain confidentiality of project findings and intellectual property.
Qualifications
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical/Mechanical/Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET lectureship, GATE, or other national-level examinations conducted by central government agencies.
- Experience: Fresh graduates with the above qualifications are welcome to apply; prior experience in environmental projects will be an advantage.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of the last date of application (11-09-2025).
Emoluments
- ₹31,000 + HRA for candidates who have qualified national eligibility tests (NET/GATE).
- ₹25,000 + HRA for others.
Mode of Selection
- Selection will be done through an online interview (via MS Teams/Skype).
