Summary of Job
Teach Pharmaceutics / Pharma chemistry / Pharmacology for Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree courses as per the University curriculum, evaluation, and other academic/administrative activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Teaching and covering the curriculum as designed and outlined by the university, by adhering to the rules and regulations
- Creating, developing, and implementing innovative teaching pedagogy for a better and easier understanding of taking industry-related problems as practical teaching
- Monitoring and observing the students’ attendance, progress, and assessments
- Preparing various kinds of reports by evaluating and grading the students based on their assessment
- Keeping in touch with current trends by reading the latest articles published in different magazines or other relevant literature, and updating his academic delivery accordingly, and continuous upgradation by attending FDPs
- Plan and organize for the availability of different study materials and laboratory experiments.
- To assist the students in the recruitment and advise them regarding their career decisions.
- Should also continue with the research work in the field. He / She should be well-acquainted with and publish it.
- Responsible for the timely preparation and submission of the required budget plans
- Responsible for Academic & administrative duties as per the task assigned by the Dean and organizing events of SPS
- To supervise and monitor ongoing laboratory sessions/internships and research work in a timely manner.
- Responsible for implementing the updated guidelines from time to time to raise the standards of the curriculum
- Should be technically savvy and Moodle-friendly.
Job Knowledge (Prerequisites)
Knowledge of Pharmachemistry / Pharmaceutics and related subjects for both undergraduate and postgraduate students of a University or higher education institution, including colleges under a recognized University.
Skill Set
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written)
- Teaching, guiding, and training skills
Education Qualification
M.Pharm (Pharmachemistry/Pharmaceutics/Pharmacology) with minimum 60% of Marks and Ph.D. (Preferred)
2 years of teaching experience
Experiences
3 to 5 years, including academic, research, and industrial experience.
