Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scientist in Process Engineering in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) development with proven expertise in scaling up or down technologies to meet production demands. Proficient in Process and Chemical Engineering, adept at troubleshooting complex projects, facilitating technology transfer, and optimizing operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Executing lab batches / Kilo lab/CPP batches for design space verification
- Supporting trial and validation batches during scale up
- Utilizing process modeling tools for various studies
- Generating and interpreting PAT data for process understanding
- Investigating and troubleshooting scale up/validation issues
- Documenting experiments and creating necessary reports
- Preparing process documents and reports
- Evaluating solvent, reagents, and product recoveries
- Executing kilo lab batches and supporting in report compilation
- Preparing campaign/equipment plan and understanding associated risks/hazards
- Contributing to lab safety initiatives
Qualifications
Educational Qualification: B. Tech in Chemical Engineering
Minimum Work Experience: 4 to 8 years in scale up & tech transfer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)
