Job Overview
Assist in R&D Analytical Development to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects. Provide support in managing lab operations and maintaining EHS compliance. Contribute to building lab competencies under the guidance of the Manager.

Reporting Structure: Sr. Principal Scientist – Analytical
Experience: 2 – 5 years in API/specialty chemical analytical development
Competencies
- Technical & Professional Knowledge:
Desired knowledge in analytical chemistry and industrial experience with analytical techniques.
Knowledge of operating instruments like HPLC, GC, GC-HS, GCMS, and LCMS, with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
Basic knowledge in analytical method development, validation, and transfer in compliance with ICH guidelines, GLP, and GMP standards.
Desired knowledge of ICH, WHO, and various guidelines. - Data Analysis and Reporting:
Ability to compile and interpret data, and effectively communicate results.
Proficient in technical writing, including preparation of analytical documents and reports. - Digital and Technical Tool:
Well-versed with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet-based research tools.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Analytical Development:
Perform routine scientific research tasks under the supervision of the Manager or Lab Team Leader, using standard techniques, procedures, and equipment.
Execute experimental plans and assist in investigating technical concepts and requirements.
Support analytical method development and validation for APIs, formulations, raw materials, and excipients using techniques like HPLC and GC, including literature searches.
Assist in analytical method transfer activities for formulation projects at manufacturing sites, including troubleshooting during development and transfer.
Contribute to experimental data generation, interpretation, and review for API and formulation analytical development. - Technology Transfer:
Provide on-site or remote support for analytical method transfer activities as per the project plan.
Assist in preparing analytical method transfer documents, including assessment reports, transfer plans, protocols, and stability data. - Business Support:
Support in analyzing and troubleshooting research issues in coordination with team members. - Compliance and Lab Administration:
Analyze development batches and routine stability samples while adhering to cGMP and cGLP standards.
Prepare and update standard test procedures, SOPs, and IOPs as required.
Ensure proper maintenance of assigned lab sections and compliance with documentation and lab management practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support successful product development.
Qualifications: M.Sc. (Analytical Chemistry or its related functionary)
