Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of chemistry? Anthem Biosciences is hiring for the Scientist/Senior Scientist role in our dynamic Chemistry Lab (CL) in Bommasandra or Harohalli.
With an academic background in MSc Chemistry (Organic/Industrial/ General/Medicinal) and 1-4 years of relevant experience, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact in science and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Organic Synthesis & Reaction Optimization:
- Design and execute complex synthetic routes to develop novel organic compounds.
- Optimize reaction conditions to improve target compounds’ yield, purity, and scalability.
- Scale-up laboratory reactions for pilot and production stages.
Characterization & Analytical Techniques:
4. Conduct detailed characterization of compounds using techniques such as NMR, IR, MS, HPLC, and GC.
5. Interpret the analytical data to assess synthesized compounds’ structure, purity, and properties.
6. Write comprehensive reports detailing experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
Research & Development:
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products or improve existing formulations.
8. Stay up-to-date with current literature and emerging trends in organic chemistry to drive innovation.
9. Contribute to new organic compound synthesis and characterization methods, processes, and technologies.
Laboratory Management:
10. Maintain
a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.11. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols, regulations, and best practices.
12. Prepare and maintain detailed experimental documentation following company standards.
Project Management & Reporting:
13. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
14. Communicate research findings and progress to senior management and project stakeholders.
15. Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and publications for internal and external audiences.
