Job Overview
We are seeking a Chemist- (Air Analyst) with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team at Equinox Labs, one of India’s leading FSSAI Notified, NABL Accredited, and ISO Certified Food, Water, and Air Testing Laboratories. As a Chemist- (Air Analyst), you will be responsible for conducting air quality analysis, performing tests, and interpreting results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in air quality analysis or related laboratory work.
- Strong knowledge of environmental testing, Ambient Air Sample, Stack Sample, Indoor Air Sample, and standards.
- Experience in working with sophisticated analytical instruments and equipment.
- Reporting of analyzed samples as per protocol.
- Maintain all quality-related documents.
- Participation in PT & ILC Test.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct air quality analysis using sophisticated instruments and equipment.
- Collect air samples from various sources and ensure proper handling.
- Perform laboratory tests to determine levels of pollutants, contaminants, and other substances.
- Interpret test results and compare them with regulatory standards to assess compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing the findings and recommendations.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
