Job Summary:
Analysis, sampling, and documentation in the chemical section.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze finished products, stability, raw materials, in-process, packing materials, and validation samples as per respective STP’s.
- Perform sampling of raw materials and packing materials.
- Charge samples for stability studies under different stability conditions and withdraw stability samples at specified intervals as per the protocol.
- Monitor stability chambers for temperature and humidity.
- Prepare stability summary reports.
- Manage chemicals and columns as per defined procedures.
- Qualify working standards and volumetric solutions.
- Calibrate instruments as per schedule.
- Maintain cGLP in the Quality Control laboratory.
- Execute any other work assigned by HOD/Section Manager.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques, including titrations, spectroscopy, chromatography (e.g., HPLC, GC), and wet chemistry methods.
- Ability to accurately follow Standard Test Procedures (STPs) for analyzing various samples, including finished products, raw materials, in-process materials, packaging, and stability.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, and balances, including calibration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of proper sampling techniques for raw and packaging materials to ensure representative samples.
- Understanding of stability testing protocols, including sample storage, retrieval, and data analysis, and the ability to prepare stability summary reports.
- Thorough knowledge and adherence to current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP) to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Ability to troubleshoot analytical issues, identify discrepancies, and investigate out-of-specification results.
Qualification: M.Sc. (Chemistry)
Experience: 3-5 years
