The Scientist I for Cytiva is responsible for executing basic complexity laboratory projects and generating test data related to specified protocols.
This position is part of the Fast Trak Validation Services located in Bangalore and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Execute and ensure intermediate complexity test work is completed as required.
- Review and ensure job requests, relevant MSDS, and fully understand requirements in accordance with laboratory SOPs.
- Review and ensure documents are prepared appropriately using datasheets or laboratory notebooks.
- Ensure and operate, understand, and troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- MSc in Biochemistry or Chemistry with 2-4 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Hands-on experience with handling, maintaining, and troubleshooting Balance, pH meter, UV, and HPLC equipment.
- Basic understanding of Analytical equipment validation.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Hands-on experience with handling, maintaining, and troubleshooting ICP-MS, LCMS-QToF, and GCMS.
- Knowledge of Veeva QMS, Smartsheet, and ValGenesis.
