Responsibilities of the Role
- Handling original research papers and collaborating with other editors on editorial tasks, including manuscript selection and peer review management.
- Making informed editorial decisions based on expert reviews.
- Ensuring subject representation in the journal.
- Liaising with editors at other Nature journals and with scientific experts globally.
- Attending conferences and visiting research institutions.
To Be Considered for the Position
- A PhD (or equivalent) in Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Synthesis, or Organic Chemistry.
- Postdoctoral research experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of fundamental topics in Polymer Chemistry.
- Passion for science, curiosity, and interest beyond your specialization.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess research novelty, context, and implications across this discipline.
- Willingness to travel and engage with scientists globally to promote our journal’s interests.

- Locations: Pune
- Employment: Full-time, permanent.
- Editorial experience is not required, though experienced editors may be considered for Senior Editor roles.
