Role Description:
- Responsible for driving sales growth of respective workflow solutions in the market by spending 60%-80% of the time in the field, including providing support to Account Managers in the sales process when needed.
- Work cohesively as a team to provide excellence in service to clients.
- Engage and build relationships with relevant KOLs, business associations, and working groups to raise technical reputation and develop business presence in the country.
- Present at and attend relevant conferences, exhibitions, and scientific meetings in line with strategy.
- Build collaboration execution to achieve goals with Account Managers, CE, Sales Enablement, and SCM by developing co-strategies to achieve defined targets.
- Focus on managing Strategic, Growing, and Maintaining customer group stratification from a workflow perspective to accelerate the business.
- Act as liaison on specific projects between various internal functions.
- Help with bulk business generation as well as managing top opportunities and forecasting for large sales processes.
- Analyze market trends and identify the solutions we could offer to customers to meet their needs.
- Deliver sales training for the segment sales team regularly to enhance their knowledge based on market trends and provide training to customers to build market demand.
- Identify and provide feedback on new product development ideas/NPI, potential strategic partnerships, and/or new technologies.
- Report and monitor all activities to evaluate plan progress using SFDC, FLUX, Tableau.
- Generate leads for sales where possible.
Job Requirements:
- PhD (preferred) or Master’s in Chemistry with 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent laboratory and industry experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the translational research landscape in India.
- Hands-on working knowledge, experience, and an excellent understanding of organic chemistry, chemical synthesis, peptides, polymer synthesis, building blocks, and catalysts.
- Scientific expertise and experience in a customer-focused role.
- Must have commercial acumen and market awareness.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with both written and verbal communication and negotiation.
- Outstanding planning, organizing, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to travel within India (up to 60%).
