ADMISSION NOTICE 2024-25 for Ph.D. (Tech.)/ Ph.D. (Science) Programmes (Including Direct Ph.D. (Tech.))
Online applications are invited for the following Ph.D. (Tech.) / Ph.D. (Science) programmes at ICT Mumbai, ICT-IOC Bhubneswar, and ICT Marathwada Jalna campuses.
Online application forms will be available from 25th August 2024 on https://ictmumbaiadm.samarth.edu.in/. The last date of submitting the online application is 20th September 2024. The schedule regarding ICT entrance examination for these programmes will be displayed on the ICT website in the month of September 2024. Applicants are requested to visit the ICT website from time to time for updates.
NOTE: There will be a single application form for all three campuses. Separate application forms must be filled for different programmes.

Please read the following instructions carefully:
- Please refer to section 3.4 in the Admission Handbook 2024-2025 (Page No. 190-199) for eligibility criteria and other related information regarding all the abovementioned programs. The Admission Handbook is available on www.ictmumbai.edu.in. Please click on Academic and then Admissions tabs. Candidates are requested to refer to Chapter 3 “Programmes of Study and Eligibility Criteria” prior to making an application.
- Fees for submission of a single form for a particular programme at ICT is Rs. 1000/- for Open category students and Rs. 500/- for Reserved category students. Fees for reserved candidates are applicable for candidates from the state of Maharashtra only. Payment of this fee should be made online (extra online charges may apply).
- Direct Ph.D. (Tech.) programmes are offered in limited branches only. Please refer to the Admission Handbook 2024-2025 (Page No. 190-199).
- The mere submission of an application form does not guarantee admission. To become eligible for admission to these programmes, the candidates will have to qualify for the entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, subject to the availability of fellowships. The syllabus for the Ph.D. (Tech.) / Ph.D. (Science) entrance examination for various programmes for the academic year 2024-25 is available on the ICT website www.ictmumbai.edu.in.
- The schedule regarding the ICT entrance examination for these programmes will be displayed on the ICT website in the month of August 2024. Applicants are requested to visit the ICT website from time to time for updates.
- For more information, candidates shall refer to the Handbook 2024-2025 on the ICT website http://ictmumbai.edu.in. The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is mandatory for the submission of the Application from AY 2024-25 for all programmes. Please visit https://www.abc.gov.in/ for creating ABC ID, if you do not have one already.
- It is the responsibility of the applicant to check eligibility criteria, validity of required documents, and other requirements, before registration and payment of application fees.
- Applicants must register freshly for admissions 2024-25. Any queries related to the use of previous registration details will not be entertained at all.
- For any queries, candidates are requested to write an email to [email protected] only. No WhatsApp inquiries or phone calls to any of the admission staff will be entertained.
- Note for AICTE Doctoral Fellowship candidates (ADF): Please read the Revised Guidelines for AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) 2024-25 for eligibility and other criteria for admission to Ph.D. under the ADF scheme. You need not apply separately for the ADF scheme. Only one application is required.
- We will strictly follow the revised guidelines with respect to eligible programmes and eligibility criteria for admission via the ADF route.
