Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to help establish, coordinate, and maintain the sanitation/food safety programs of the New Dryer including the Neptune CIP validation, MSS (Master Sanitation schedule), PEM environmental program, hygiene/traffic pattern requirements, cleaning tools and monitoring of documentation critical to this role to ensure a quality and safe product.
What Will Do:
- Review and analyze sanitation records and documentation throughout the dryer operations to optimize dryer performance and food safety.
- Validate CIP (clean-in-place) effectiveness by analyzing data and troubleshooting.
- Develops and monitors sanitation programs to achieve sanitary environmental conditions throughout the Dryer.
- Works closely with Dryer operation’s partners and leaders to support sanitation/food safety cleaning efforts to assure cleaning effectiveness is verified and achieved.
- Conducts annual Neptune CIP validations to assure CIP circuit is operating as designed and meeting requirements from a food safety and operational performance perspective.
- Responsible for conducting Neptune CIP validations on any new equipment, modified equipment, or CIP circuits that have been modified.
- Work closely with maintenance team to learn what is in the Dryer PM (preventative maintenance) program and help create with others a sanitation MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule) plan and schedule for critical assets and non-routine tasks along with monitoring the performance of the scheduled work being completed. This shall be reported out to plant leadership.
- Review CIP daily wash records to assure all washes were run within acceptable ranges.
- Review tool cleaning practices including monitoring the performance of this cleaning using verification data. Make corrections as needed and help select best cleaning tools.
- Liaisoning with various chemical suppliers to identify different options for effective cleaning and sanitization products.
- Pest management
- Provide support in filling out customer sanitation/food safety/QMS documentation as needed.
- Responsible for coordinating and providing sanitation/food safety training non-Schreiber workers, internal partners, and leaders as needed.
What we need:
- B. Sc/ M. Sc Microbiology or Chemistry with 4 to 6 Years of total experience
- 2-3 Years Hands on experience in Sanitation activities.
