ROLE Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Testing of used oil and fresh oil samples from OEM’/OM’s.
- Knowledge of ASTM, DIN, CEC and other industries standard method.
- Preparation of blends.
- Hands Blend optimization study.
- Calibration of instruments & standardization of volumetric solutions.
- Analytical data entry in software.
- Troubleshooting of problems arising during analysis including instruments & methods.
- Job coordination with different departments related to department work.
- Knowledge of QMS, EMS & OSHA.
Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):
- Required Expertise / Knowledge / Skills:
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Chemistry from recognized University (in house candidate).
- Masters Degree in Chemistry from recognized University (New external hires).
- Experience in testing of lubricants, additives, chemicals in manufacturing industry, preferably in MNC environment.
- Minimum 5 Years of industry experience.
- Experience in working of analytical equipment along with their computer compatibility.
- Can work in a team as well as independently.
- English communication & competent in using computers, excel, PPT, word, statistical utilities etc.
