We are currently looking for a Manager in Research and Development for our Blend Specialist position in Bangalore, India. If you have a passion for alcohol technology, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or food technology, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Additional certifications including Masters or PhD are a plus. We welcome candidates with an education in engineering or applied science degrees or those with recognized technical equivalents.
As a Manager in Research and Development, you will have a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in distillery, blending, quality control, or product development. You will be responsible for leading project teams and managing technical projects from start to finish.
Job Description:
Qualifications and Capabilities Required:
- Bachelors/Master degree in Alcohol Technology/Analytical Chemistry/Bio Chemistry/Food Technology
- Additional certifications including Masters or PhD a plus
- Engineering or Applied Science Degree or recognized technical equivalent
Functional Requirements:
- Conduct crafting of liquid for innovation/renovation projects
- Blending skills and experience of liquid blending at unit and lab scale
- Liquid development to beat sensorial quality as per brief
- Knowledge of Sprite process – distillation, maturation
- Good sensory skill to develop beating liquids
- Understanding of the ingredients and additives for liquid development
- IT and technology understanding
- Mathematical and analytical skills
- Personal congruence and integrity
- Able to translate creative ideas into tangible business opportunities
