Core Purpose of the Role:
Sourcing & procurement of API, Excipients, Primary & secondary Packing material, RLD (Reference listed drug’s), Impurities standards.
Role Accountabilities:
- Manage the Supplier life cycle including supplier selection, assessment, development, and supplier consolidation Floating of enquiries in market.
- Get the Best possible quote from Vendors. Comparison of quotes. Negotiations on Price, Payment terms, delivery date etc.
- Conversion of Purchase Requisition to Purchase order in SAP within Turnaround time of 3 days.
- Coordinate with cross functional leads from project management, Development team etc.
- Preparation of MIS on daily basis about PR to PO conversion along with delivery updates.
- Alternate vendor development for all raw materials.
- Follow the SOPs to complete the task.
- Must follow all the cGMP practices.
- Performa vendor evaluation.
Specific requirements for this role:
- Must have knowledge of SAP.
- Must have Knowledge of cGMP practices.
- Must have knowledge of Vendor development process & approval criteria.
- Should have good knowledge of Pharma industry and related vendors.
Education and Experience
BSc, MSc, B Pharma, M Pharma, B-tech (chemical) + MBA (international business, Operations) would be added advantage.
6-8 year of experience.
Professional Skills and Capabilities
- Must be from pharmaceutical industry.
- Must be from Sourcing background of Formulations.
- Should be well verse in Business communication and fluent.
