Walk-in interview will be conducted on 12.01.2024 for the One Post of Project Research Scientist – 1 (Non-Medical) under the Division of Discovery Research, ICMR, Headquarters, New Delhi to be filled on a purely temporary contract basis under the project entitled, “Product Development Centers”

- Registration Time: 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM (No candidate will be allowed to register & further appear in interview after 10:00 AM)
- Venue: Reception, ICMR Hqrs., Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110029.
Name of Post: Project Research Scientist – 1 (Non-Medical) – One Post
Essential Qualification: 1st Class Master’s Degree (Pharmacology) from a recognized University with 4 years experience in related field. Or 2nd class Master’s Degree with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable:
- Ph.D (Pharmacology) from a recognized university.
- Research publications in the relevant field.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Job Requirements
- To assist program officer in various activities under Product Development.
- Organizing weekly project investigators and TAG meetings.
- Preparation of minutes/ recommendations emerged from the meetings.
- Reporting of the progress at regular intervals to the Committee.
- Any other work assigned.
Age and Salary
Age: Up to 40 Years
Category: Unreserved
Salary: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA 27% @ Rs. 15,120/- = Rs. 71,120/- P.M.
Place of Duty: ICMR Hqrs., Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110029
Terms & Conditions
- Candidates who wish to apply for the position should download the application form from the website of ICMR Hqrs., New Delhi. All original certificates of educational qualification, experience certificates, etc. should be brought along with one set of self-attested photocopies and a recent passport size photograph for attending the walk-in interview.
- The engagement will be up to 03.07.2025 or up to the further extension period of the project, subject to satisfactory work performance and requirement.
- Canvassing in any form shall be a disqualification.
- Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. Of India/ICMR/Norms.
- Experience shall be counted from the date of completion of minimum essential education qualification.
- The ICMR reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies, as per requirement, and reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any of the vacancy in view of work requirement.
- No benefit of provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim, etc. will be considered, except the consolidated pay, since the positions are purely temporary basis.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview/personal discussion.
- The above positions are filled-up on purely temporary basis and contractual basis. The candidate will have no right to claim for any type of Permanent Employment under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
