Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SERB funded research project in the Department of Chemistry at IISER Bhopal
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of project-JRF in the research area of Chemistry and Chemical Biology under the SERB Project No SERB/CHM/2021062
Project Description:Â The project will involve synthesis of small molecules and small peptides for protein bioconjugation applications.
No. of Position:Â One JRF.
Duration:Â Initially 6 months and may be extended up to 1 year or more depending on performance of the candidate. Extension beyond 1 year will depend on the availability of funds.
Eligibility:
- MSc (or equivalent) in Organic Chemistry/Biochemistry/General Chemistry/Chemical biology from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% Marks.
- Qualified CSIR-UGC NET (LS) or GATE or equivalent national level examination with a valid score.
- Prior experience in synthetic organic chemistry, molecular biology and biochemistry is desirable.
Salary:Â Rs. 31000/- per month + 16% HRA
