Medreich Limited, a pharmaceutical company located in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, is looking to hire a Formulation Development Executive for OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) products.

Position: Formulation Development – OSD
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting preformulation studies and prototype development, including literature survey, characterization of reference products, drug and excipient compatibility tests, procurement of necessary tools, selection of prototype composition and process based on dissolution results, and compilation of stability data
- Recording trial observations in laboratory notebooks and compiling data
- Submission of applications for test license, import license, and manufacturing license
- Lab scale development, optimization of prototype composition, and comparison of multimedia dissolution with reference product through lab-scale trials
- Planning and releasing purchase requisitions for procurement of materials required for pre-validation and validation batches
- Preparation of feasibility reports, scale-up batch execution plans, pre-validation protocols, and batch manufacturing records (BMR)
- Execution of scale-up batches at production area and compilation of scale-up reports
- Submission of samples for analytical method validation
- Preparation of scale-up summary reports, justification of specifications, cleaning assessment reports, risk assessment reports, and compilation of stability data
- Transfer of technology to production unit through execution of registration/validation batches
- Preparation of product development reports for Module-3 compilation
- Revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for allocated equipment and maintenance of equipment
Experience required: 2 to 7 years
Qualification: Only M.Pharm/Ph.D.
