Materials Studio Research Apprentice:

Role & Responsibility:
- Conduct literature survey and gain a good understanding of aspects of the given Materials Science research problem.
- Identify molecular dynamics simulation workflows and use BIOVIA products to generate thermodynamic properties from these simulations.
- Summarize project results and present to rest of the team.
- Work closely with a geographically distributed team.
Qualifications/Experience:
- M.Tech/MSc/PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline from premier institutions with good academic track record.
- Strong background in Thermodynamics and Molecular Dynamics simulations.
- Knowledge of scripting language such as PERL or Python would be an advantage.
- Working Knowledge of Windows and Linux O/S
- Strong Problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot applications & environment issues.
- Adaptability, ability to learn faster, independent, responsible and diligent.
- Good team spirit and interpersonal skills, excellent written, verbal, communication skills, analytical skills & Business thinking.
