IITH MSc Chemistry Job Applications are invited from bright, young candidates with good academic background to attend the online interview for the post of Junior research fellow position (No. of Post: One) as a part of DRDO project,
Project Title: “Pressureless fabrication of carbon foam using bituminous coal for ablative applications”.
The project involves fabrication of large size carbon foam using coal powders. These foams are expected to have high strength, low density and low thermal conductivity

Period of Appointment The appointment will be initially for a period of six months and
based on performance, the appointment could be extended till
the end of the project
Remuneration As per DST norms (Revised)
INR 37000/- pm + HRA for one year with possibility of extension
Essential Qualifications
M.Sc in Chemistry and related areas (first class)
Age Limit 35 years
Desirable Experience in mechanical testing of ceramic/ metallic materials. Experience in handling various characterization tools such as XRD, FTIR, Raman etc.
