• MSc/PhD in Material Science or Analytical Chemistry

• 3-5 years industrial experience in chromatography

• ≥ 3 years hands-on experience with GC, LC, and IC measurements

• Experience in organic chemical analysis and pilot plant support

• Able to interpret and report analytical data from chromatography measurements

• Strong verbal and written communications skills / presentation skills and listening skills

• Self motivated and capable of interfacing effectively with R&D staff.

• Knowledge of the application of chemical feeds and products in refinery and petrochemical processes is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience using Gas, Liquid, and Combustion Ion Chromatography as well as Simulated Distillation , GC- Mass Spectroscopy and head space analysis.

• Able to follow written methods and interpret analytical data for multiple chromatographic techniques

• Interact with R&D and Pilot Plant staff to provide support analyzing and characterizing materials for Honeywell UOP and SM Technologies.

• Utilize Six-Sigma tools as part of the protocol to SPC analysis methods.

• Provide the analytical support for the area and work with area experts globally to resolve measurement issues.

• Maintain and manage sample throughput for GC Lab analysis measurements & maintaining highest safety standard at GC lab .
