- No direct subordinates
SCOPE
- Position based in Mumbai R&D center for Home Care South Asia Cluster Design Center (CDC)
- Scope of this position is home care R&D division, responsible for development and implementation of projects for South Asia business that includes India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist to build the product performance evaluation capabilities involves new method development for formulation screening, claim substantiation and demos.
- Assist to build the product appraisal/evaluation capabilities like automation of appraisal protocol, instrument development, validation of the new protocol to ensure repeatability and reproducibility.
- Planning, designing, executing, and reporting back the experiment for screening new formulations/technologies to input for product improvement projects.
Data analysis, reporting and report writing to document and debrief the experiment with project teak, stakeholders - Co-ordinating with 3P, Vendors, Project team to drive capability projects.

- Can you tell us about your experience working in R&D and product development?
Answer: Sure, I have around 4 years of experience working in R&D and product development. In my previous role, I was responsible for developing and implementing new formulations and technologies for home care products. I also assisted in the planning, design, and execution of experiments for product improvement projects.
2. What do you understand about Design of Experiment, and how have you used it in your previous work experience?
Answer: Design of Experiment is a statistical method used to plan, design, and analyze experiments. In my previous role, I used Design of Experiment to screen new formulations and technologies, and to identify the most effective ones for product improvement projects.
3. Can you provide an example of a project you worked on that involved automation of appraisal protocol and instrument development?
Answer: Sure, in a previous project, I was responsible for developing an automated appraisal protocol and instrument for testing the effectiveness of a new home care product. This involved designing the protocol, testing it for repeatability and reproducibility, and validating it with the project team and stakeholders.
4. How have you collaborated with 3P, Vendors, and Project teams in the past to drive capability projects?
Answer: In my previous role, I worked closely with 3P, vendors, and project teams to drive capability projects. I coordinated with vendors to procure necessary equipment and materials, worked with 3P to conduct experiments, and collaborated with project teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
5. How do you approach problem-solving in your work?
Answer: When faced with a problem, I first analyze the situation and gather all relevant information. Then, I brainstorm possible solutions and evaluate their feasibility and impact. Finally, I work with the project team to implement the best solution and monitor its effectiveness. I am proactive in seeking feedback and continuously improving processes.
