Company under the Ministry of Defence, requires the project engineer personnel on temporary basis for Missile Systems SBU, Bengaluru Complex.
Job Title: Project Engineer-I

Age Limit: 32 years
Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.12.2022: 2 years
Selected candidates will have to work in Bangalore and also travel / stay at Vellore, Tamilnadu for realization of project activities. Hence only those candidates who are willing to travel extensively may apply.
Terms of Engagement& Remuneration:
Project Engineer-I will be engaged initially for a period of 3 years which may be extended
upto a maximum of one year based on project requirement and individual performance.
Eligbility Criteria: Full time (4 years) BE/B.Tech course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines – Chemical. 55% and above aggregate marks in all semesters in the indicated qualification for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. Method of conversion of CGPA to percentage as per University norms should be compulsorily attached.
Post-qualification Experience ( as on 01.12.2022) :Candidates should have minimum of 2 years of relevant post qualification industry experience in
Chemical:
1. Knowledge on Safety and handling of explosives is desirable.
2. Knowledge on processing of explosives, High Explosive Filling, Propellant filling is
desirable.
3. Candidates should possess good communication skills and should be willing to travel
to customer and vendor/customer locations
JOB DESCRIPTION: Incumbents will be assigned any of the activities detailed below:
Project Engineer (Chemical):
- Handling of all production related activities pertaining to explosives.
- All activities related to safe handling of explosives.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
- Selection will be through a Written Test followed by an Interview for shortlisted
candidates. - Candidates who pass the written test will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 for interview
in the order of merit. Management reserves the right to increase this ratio. 85% Marks
will be allotted for the written test and 15% for the interview. - The names of candidates shortlisted for Written Test/Interviews and final selections
will be notified on our Company’s website. - Please note that Written Test/Interview call letters will be sent through email only.
Application Fees:
- The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (through online mode or
through SBI Branch). - Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment.
- Candidates can also make the payment by approaching SBI branch. You have to select
SBI branch in the payment option and download pre-printed challan generated through
SBI Collect and deposit the application fee (as applicable) plus applicable bank charges
in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the
bank official. - Candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment, in
the online Application Form. - Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before
remitting Application Fee and submitting the application. Fee once paid will not be
refunded.
HOW TO APPLY:

Documents to be submitted by candidate along with the application form:
i) 10th Standard marks card (as proof of date of birth)
ii) B.E/B.Tech. Degree certificate (as applicable)
iii) All semester marks cards
iv) Formula for CGPA conversion of marks obtained in BE/B.Tech as notified by the
Institute/University.
v) Caste /Tribe/ Community/ Disability/Economic status certificate in case of candidates
belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS respectively. Candidates claiming reservation under
any of the above categories are required to submit the certificate in the prescribed format. The formats of various certificates are provided as link to the advertisement. Candidates belonging to OBC category should produce the certificate issued on or after 01.01.2022.
vi) Post qualification work experience certificate/s from previous / current employer. Where
current employment certificate is not produced, the Offer of current appointment, Employee ID proof and latest pay slip should be compulsorily enclosed.
vii) A brief write up on the roles and responsibilities held in previous organization/s.
viii)Candidates working in PSUs / Govt. organizations should compulsorily submit the
application through proper channel or produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of the
interview.
ix) SBI Fee payment receipt.
The duly filled in application form along with relevant documents mentioned above should be sent through post to –
