This walk-in interview is exclusively for the candidates who have become eligible for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Chemistry in the recently announced results of CSIR-UGC (JRF) for admission into the Ph.D. program at the Department of Chemical Science, IISER Mohali beginning of January 2023.
Eligibility: Candidates who have become eligible for JRF in the recently announced results of CSIR-UGC (JRF) examination held in July 2022, and who have a /M.Pharm
in Chemical science or any other relevant subject with a good academic record (at least a high second class) are eligible to attend the walk-in
interview. Those who have received call letter for regular interviews need not attend the walk-in interview.
While coming for the Interview, please bring both original and self-attested photocopies of
(1) the award letter from the funding agency, (2) the date of Birth (DOB) certificate, (3
) all mark sheets/ grade transcripts and certificates starting from class 10th, (4) Government recognized Photo ID and certificate of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PD/EWS, if applicable, (5) recent passport size photographs (2 Nos.).The original certificates will be returned to you immediately after verification while the admission committee will retain the self-attested photocopies.

(1) The reservation rules will apply as per existing GoI guidelines.
(2) The candidates will have to make their arrangements for travel and accommodation. IISER Mohali will not be able to provide accommodation or travel support.
(3) If a candidate has a preference for a particular research field,
the Department will usually try to consider them positively. Therefore, you should carefully explore the research work going on in the labs of the faculty in the Department.
