Job Title: Technology Deployment Manager/ Project Manager- Engine Oils
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or related field
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Effective project management experience, including project economics
- General knowledge of statistics
- Experience as a key player in the key account team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and to participate in global discussions (evening meetings)
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills

Summary of the Role:
To defend and grow OMC business and handle OEM development projects meeting Lubrizol needs by implementing appropriate technology platforms in the Engine Oils marketplace
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
The Engine Oil technology deployment manager works within a global team and is accountable for working with customers or original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to deploy technology solutions for new product commercialization and existing product support. The
successful candidate should have a proven track record of interfacing with external customers, managing multiple technical projects, providing solutions through a network of resources, having strong interpersonal and communications skills, and working well in teams.Job Responsibilities include:
- Translate customer/OEM technical needs into the technical plan and work with the team to implement that project plan in a timely, and cost-efficient manner
- Optimize product platform and complete necessary testing to deploy commercialized products for OEMs and oil company customers
- Provide general technical support and resolve field issues for assigned customers and OEMs
- Build and maintain customer/OEM relationships to deliver products that meet or exceed their expectations and Engine Oil segment strategies
Work with sales and OEM team to develop customer relationships and communicate customer goals to the Engine Oil segment - Effectively communicate project status to customer teams and departments in assigned project areas
- Estimate and develop project plans (scope, objectives, milestones, resources, and economics)
- Complete timely customer reports, and data presentations
- Accurately collate, interpret, and present data
- Work with internal and external test laboratories to ensure sufficient resource allocation for business demands
