Job Title: Senior Process Engineer
Location: PUNE, MAHARASHTRA, India
Desired Educational Qualification
- Minimum Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum 5- 8 years of experience, preferably with oil and gas background
Technical Skills / Knowledge Required
Able to select -flow meter ,size vessel,pipes, able to design P&ID,PFD, Drop calculations . Various calculations on ratio control (Blending and transfer )
1. Able to travel as needed- May travel internationally depending on assigned projects. / collaborate with WA -SME/
2. Minimum of 5 years of Process Engineering experience in related field and should have done FEED or Detail Engineering
3. Experience in chemical, gas and oil flow measurement and batch processing applications preferred
4, Must have good interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, self –reliant.
Job Description:
Highlight Top / Key Responsibilities for this position
- Prepare documents such as Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID’s, equipment sizing, flow and press drop calculations, specifications and data sheets, line and valve sizing, material selection, process operation description, heat and mass balance calculations during basic design phase of projects.
Provide data analysis during the conceptual design phase of the project using computerized techniques
2. Provide RFQ packages, technical bid analysis and drawing and document reviews during the project detail design phase
3. Interface with Functional engineers; direct/guide CAD drafting personnel during project execution. Interfacing with detailed engineering teams, both in-house and customer side, on process-related issues.
4. Monitor activities to meet project schedule and budget
5. Participate in the commissioning phase of projects
6. Advise the Project Manager and Project Leads Engineers regarding significant technical, scheduling or cost problems so that timely corrective action can be taken
7. Maintain good design calculations on assigned projects and file them properly for future reference
8. Demonstrate a positive attitude, ethical conduct and excellent communication• Provide process orientation/training to the B&T team
• Collaborate with WA- SME and Engineering heads
• Provide necessary support to proposals/ sales team on the technical front.
