Job Title: Senior Engineer

Eligbility Criteria: B. E. / B.Tech. / M. E. / M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering

Job Segment: Manufacturing Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Chemical Research, CAD, Engineering, Automotive

Experience

3 to 5 Years

• Experience in automotive paint R&D, manufacturing, automotive OEM
• Automotive paint product development, cost reduction, advance technology
• Worked in team and ideally in a multicultural context
• Basic understanding on the vehicle design

Job Profile

•  Understand real world usage patterns and translate it to specification, standard, and DVP
•  Predict failure modes and create tests for frontloading solutions
•  Evaluate automotive paints and formulations
•  Work on automotive coating materials, processes, and applications
• Proficient in handling of paint testing standards and equipment
•  Work with suppliers and academia on automotive coatings and corrosion projects on new technologies
•  Support different functions like manufacturing, design, quality, and sourcing for coatings-related activities
•  Knowledge of designing anticorrosion packages for vehicles
•  Estimate the time and resources required to conduct coatings validation and testing
• AUTOCAD / Catia handling knowledge (preferred)

Preferred knowledge areas

• Knowledge in automotive paint formulation, manufacturing, and application
• Knowledge on corrosion and different surface protection solutions

Skills

• Hands-on experience in automotive paints development and formulations
•  Knowledge in automotive painting materials, processes, and application
•  Understanding of paint defects and various lab paint testing
•  Failure mode and root cause analysis
•  Basic knowledge on corrosion and different surface protection processes
