Eligibility Criteria: First Division in both M.Sc. in Chemistry and B. Sc in Chemistry along with a valid NET/GATE score

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/~ per month for JRF with applicable H.R.A and Medical facilities are applicable as per DRDO rules.

General Conditions:

1. The No. of JRF and RA positions mentioned above is only indicative and may change at a later stage depending on the final assessment of eligible applications received.

2. Eligible candidates shall email the duly filled application form (Annexure–I to III; Check DRDO website > What’s New) along with soft copies of self-attested degree certificates, GATE score card, caste certificate and other applicable proofs (in a single pdf file, not exceeding 10 MB) to [email protected] before July 24th,2022. In addition, the

candidates should also submit details online at https://forms.gle/11FMWNh65VyVhzn5A. The applications will be disqualified if either the scanned application via e-mail or the online form is not submitted.

3. Selection process:

a. The GATE score should be valid as on the date of application in the aforementioned subjects only.

b. Eligible candidates for JRF-interview (Post Codes: JRF-02 and JRF- 03) will be shortlisted based on valid NET/GATE scores.

d. Age Limit: The age limit for JRF is 28 years as on July 24th, 2022. The age limit shall be
relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates or as per Govt. guidelines.
A copy of the self-attested caste certificate is mandatory to be attached with the application.

e. Candidate must submit the supporting document for converting CGPA/CPI to equivalent % from the concerned university.

4. The list of shortlisted applicants will be communicated through e-mail provided by the applicants.

The shortlisted candidates will be informed of the date, time, and particulars of the web-based/in-person interview via e-mail. The shortlisted candidates should confirm their attendance for the interview via email five days before the scheduled date.

5. Based on the online interview, a Panel of candidates for the anticipated vacancies will be drawn, valid for a period of 1 year. However, empanelment doesn’t entitle any candidate to an offer of fellowship, which is contingent upon the occurrence of vacancies during the year. Director, DMRL reserves the right to not select any candidate if suitable candidates are not available.

6. If selected, the candidates will be required to produce certificates/proofs in original for verification at the time of joining. No TADA will be paid for joining if selected.

Tenure:

JRF The post is temporary and the maximum tenure is 05 (Five) years. The initial tenure will be of 02 (Two) years and will subsequently be elevated to SRF for the remaining 03 (Three) years subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed as per DRDO Guidelines. Also, the offer does not confer on the candidates any right for absorption in DRDO under any circumstances

• The JRF candidates may be allowed to register for part-time Ph.D. (if selected) with any
  University/Institution during the tenure of fellowship upon approval by Director, DMRL.
• Those who were already in the JRF position in any of the DRDO Laboratories/ centers earlier are not eligible to apply again.
• Candidates working in Govt/Public sector undertaking / Autonomous bodies should produce no objection certificate (Annexure-II & III) to attend the interview.
• The management of DMRL reserves the right to amend/refix/cancel/suspend the selection process at any time during the process without assigning any reason whatsoever. The decision of the DMRL management shall be final in all aspects of the selection process and binding and no appeal of any kind shall be accepted/ entertained/ considered in this regard.
