Eligbility Criteria:

Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable experience, if any

1) MSc Chemistry (General Chem, Organic/Inorganic/Physical/Analytical/Applied/polymer
chemistry) with minimum 55% marks

2) Experience in catalyst synthesis or processes

3) Experience in organometallic chemistry or organic synthesis

4) Experience in polymerization and depolymerization

Age Limit 35

Job requirement

1) Synthesis of catalysts and scale up of the process

2) Synthesis of ligands, transition metal complexes and development of new methodologies for the depolymerization reactions

3) Handling of 1 kg and 5 kg reactors

Consolidated emoluments per month

(i) 31,000/- to Scholars who are selected through

(a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship(Assistant Professorship) or GA

TE or

b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.(ii) 25,000/- for others who do not meet (i) above.

3) Experience in the process

4) Familiarity with modeling and simulations

Age Limit 35

Job requirement

1) Modeling and simulations of chemical processes and reactors

2) Working with 1 kg and 5 kg reactors

3) Conducting trials on 1 kg and 5 kg reactors

Consolidated emoluments per month

(i) 31,000/- to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship(Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.(ii) 25,000/- for others who do not meet (i) above.

The engagement will be initially for a period of six months which may be extended or
curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored project / satisfactory
performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement
will be purely on a temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary
or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit
or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR-NCL post/fellowship.
