MSc Chemistry Vacancy @ CSIR NEERI – Project Associate Post
Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for ONLINE INTERVIEW Through Microsoft Team for the following purely temporary positions tenable at Chennai Zonal Centre, CSIR-NEERI, CSIR Madras Complex, Chennai.
Project Title:
1. Development of Pt-based engineered alloys as low-cost, durable alternatives for direct fuel cells with improved Performance
2. Demonstration and validation of indigenously developed electrocatalyst for polymer electrolyte fuel cells
Job Title: Project Associate-I (3 Nos)
Eligibility Criteria: Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or
equivalent
Job Requirement: Knowledge in Materials Synthesis and Characterization based on XRD, XPS, and various Microscopic techniques
Age: 35 years
Salary:
i. 31,000 + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process
through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
ii. 25,000 + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
Mode of Selection: Selection is to be done on the basis of an online Interview through MS Team. The date of interview will be notified separately through e-mail to the short-listed candidates ONLY after screening
based on the applications received within the stipulated time.The engagement is purely on a temporary basis which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project, and the satisfactory performance/conduct of the appointee. The Project Associate shall be working at Chennai Zonal Centre, CSIR-NEERI, CSIR Madras Complex, Chennai. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would therefore not confer any
right/claim implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption.
How To Apply:
Interested, eligible candidates willing to work in the projects must apply online on or before May 20, 2022 (Friday) in the website www.csircmc.res.in (click on careers) and also present the same (originals) at the time of the online interview for verification.
Only the shortlisted candidates by the screening committee shall be called for the online interview. Candidates possessing the prescribed educational qualifications and the results declared are eligible to apply. Upon selection/empanelment, the original documents including eligibility qualification, age, and relaxation duly verified, if any discrepancy is found, the selection/empanelment stands automatically canceled.
No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
