Job Title: Analytical Scientist – Polymer Chemistry @ L’Oreal, R&I, Bangalore
Location: Bengaluru
Eligibility Criteria: Masters in Analytical Chemistry with ~ 3-6 years of experience in Polymer Analysis
Responsibilties:
Be responsible for Polymer Analysis, specifically polysaccharides to identify fundamental structural information, molecular weight, molecular weight distribution and information on branching.
- Support the team in the identification and quantification of metabolites in Natural Extracts using chromatography with different detection systems
- Use analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as NMR spectroscopy for structural characterization, ) Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) for Molecular Weight Determination, and liquid chromatography amongst others
- Interpret data and meet strict guidelines on documentation when recording data
- Report scientific results
- Validate methods and equipment
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Be aware of, and keep up to date with, health and safety issues
