Project Title: “Drug diffusion studies in Skin-on-a-Chip Devices: Numerical Simulations and Experiments”, sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India.

About the project:
The project deals with the diffusion of drugs in skin-on-a-chip devices. This involves performing experiments with skin cells in microfluidic chips, and also Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations. Students with a background in Biomedical Engineering or B.Tech/M. Tech in Biotechnology or a relevant branch, if selected, will be involved only in an experimental study. Students with Mechanical/Chemical or relevant backgrounds, if selected, will be involved in CFD simulations.
PhD Registration: The selected candidate may be considered for admission to the
Ph.D. program as a regular full-time scholar depending on the eligibility criteria of
IITI and available extended funding
Eligibility Criteria: B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering Or
any other relevant branch (with a valid GATE Score)M.E/M.Tech or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering Or any other relevant branch (with a valid GATE Score)

Fellowship Rs. 31,000/month + HRA, as per rules, for a duration of 3 Years
