Position Summary:
- Quality Chemist will be accountable for all the quality analyses to be done at lab. Chemist is responsible for shift activities including analyzing Raw material, Packing material, In-process sample as well as finished goods for locally developed products, new product translation as per quality plan, and standard test methods.
- The chemist is also responsible for the in-house calibration and standardization of Lab testing solutions and responsible to maintain analytical testing equipment.
- Need to understand and follow all the lab safety requirements and need to follow the quality requirement as per standard operating procedure without deviation.
Job Description:
- The chemist is responsible to manage the shift activities and needs to perform the testing of raw material, packing material, intermediates, and finished goods on daily basis. Clear the batches in SAP without delay.
- Coordinate with production to collect sample and follow the production process to validate the process and product.
- Verify and validate the testing equipment performance. Coordinate with OEM for regular calibration.
- Work together with the quality team as well as cross-function teams like planning, warehouse and procurement, Maintenance, and customer service to meet quality deliverables. Need to perform 5S on daily basis to maintain the lab as per global standards.
- Based on the need required to support to investigate of customer complaints by testing retain samples and share the result to the respective investigators.
