Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
- Atleast 5 years of software development or data engineering experience.
- Proficiency with languages/tools Python, SQL and Git.
- Experience with Code Review, Code standards and Code Repository.
- Experience with Agile project management.
- Experience with CI/CD
Role Scope
- As Senior Data Engineer, you will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. Earlier in your career, you likely were pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoyed optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. This serves you as strong basis for identifying data solutions, writing ETL processes, troubleshooting process, and code.
- You will furthermore support our teams on streamlining their works involving Kubernetes, Code Repository, Code Review, Democratization of Code as well as following up on implemented digital products and their next development.
- The ideal candidate is experienced in working with other data engineers and data scientists and has a strong understanding of digital product development in an Agile environment while maintaining a clear vision for what is required for maturing and successfully sustaining the digital products in the longer term.
- We expect you to translate business requirements into design specifications and code, where you are responsible for writing programs and executing ad hoc queries. You are a strong partner to our internal clients and quickly gain an enhanced understanding of business functions and informational needs. You keep yourself up to speed with the latest industry and technology development and can apply them to solve analytical challenges. You are fluent in conducting training sessions on tools, data sources, and architecture. You provide job aids and mentoring to team members and business users.
