An Offline Interview for the engagement of a ProjectAssociate-1/JRF (on a contract basis) in the Department of Chemistry, NIT Calicut is scheduled to be held on 06.05.2022 at 9.30 a.m.at the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Calicut-673601. Duration of Engagement: 12 Months (on a contract basis) and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate and availability of the project fund.

Job Title: ProjectAssociate-1/JRF
Project Title: “Design of Functional Main Group Organometallic Molecular Scaffolds:
NIR Absorbing Excellent Material for Sensing, Transportation of Bioinspired Anions, Two-photon Absorption Molecules, and OLEDs”
Qualifications: MSc Chemistry equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent
grade with having valid GATE/CSIR-NET
Desirable: Candidates having a valid CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE scorecard.
Candidates having experience in Organic/inorganic chemistry
Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand only) per month (consolidated)

1. Candidates have to send an application form in the prescribed format (annexed) as e-mail to [email protected] with the subject “Application for Project Associate I: SERB/EEQ/000180”. The self-attested copy of all the relevant
certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form. The interview will be conducted Offline and the date of which will be informed to the selected candidates through their e-mail.The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of the information, other documents, and photographs submitted.
2. Applicants who are employed in government or any other organizations are required to send a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer if selected for the interview.
3. the last date to receive the submission of the online application: is 29.04.2022 at 5.00 pm
4. Eligible candidates may report on 06.05.2022 at 9.30 a.m. at the Department of Chemistry, NIT Calicut, NIT Campus (P.O), Calicut 673 601, for off line interview, with originals of degree certificates & mark lists along with any other relevant documents (and one set of xerox). No traveling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the interview.
