IISER Mohali Announces Job Vacancy For Chemistry Candidates
IISER-Mohali (Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences) desires to engage a JRF/SRF PROJECT ASSISTANT on a purely temporary basis on contract under the MOEF-CC sponsored research project at IISER-Mohali. Intrested and eligible candidates may check out all the details on the same below:

Job Title: JRF /SRF depending on qualifications and experience
Eligibility Criteria: MSc/MTech/BSc in Chemistry.
Candidates must have a good academic record with 75% or above in their final degree for General/ OBC and 70% or above for SC/ST/PD candidates. Candidates must be GATE or NET qualified in the relevant discipline.
Experience in acquiring and interpreting ambient air quality data for trace gases and aerosol is necessary. The candidate is expected to analyze data and publish the results of their data analysis within the tenure of the position.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Desirable Qualification:
Experience in data analysis and scientific writing
Prior experience/hands-on training in operation, calibration, and data processing for any of the following instruments: Multi-wavelength aethalometer (Magee Scientific ME42), NOx analyzer, SO2 analyzer, Picaro GHG analyzer, beta-attenuation PM analyzer or Airveda low-cost PM sensors.
Prior experience/hands-on training in of air mass history analysis
(Hysplit back trajectory modeling)Prior experience/hands-on training in PMF analysis (with EPA 5.0 PMF freeware).
Basic skills in Igor Pro and R (Open-air package)
Emoluments: As per MOEF-CC Rules.
Duration: Till 31st March 2023 with no possibility of extension
