Govt ISRO-VSSC Announces Trade Apprentices Vacancy – BSc Chemistry

Chemistry Lab Assistant Post vacancy 2022. ISRO Hiring chemistry lab assistant. Chemistry job, BSc Chemistry job opening 2022. Applications are invited for the Trade Apprenticeship programs in this Centre under the Apprentices Act 1961 for the training positions likely to arise in the current year. Job Title: Lab Assistant (Chem. Plant)

No.of posts: 20

Eligibility Criteria: First class B.Sc. in Chemistry with subsidiary subjects as Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics only.

Salary: Rs 9000/-pm

Duration: The duration of training will be one year from the date of joining and the stipend is as per the above

The following conditions apply while selection of apprentices:

• Only pass-out candidates in their respective course need to apply.
• Candidates who possess ITI/NTC issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) are only eligible to apply. Certificates issued by State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) will not be considered.
• Selection Panel will be drawn based on the marks scored by the candidates in their ITI course (rounding-off of marks not allowed), giving due weightage to reservation categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD) to which he/she belongs, as per extant rules.
• The induction of apprentices will be made based on the position in the panel.
• Selected candidates will be registered under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for which they should execute a contract.
• Ex-Apprentices or currently doing Apprenticeship in any organization/firm are not eligible
• Trade Apprentices with past experience other than paid apprenticeship training is permissible but should produce the relieving letter while reporting to join.
• Combining of Apprenticeships with other institutions is not permitted.

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 30 years as on 31.03.2022. (33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST). Additional 10 years of relaxation to PWD candidates in their respective categories.

Candidates should attach self-attested copies of certificates of their qualifications acquired from SSLC/SSC/AISSC onwards. Copies of experience certificate, if any, copy of community certificate (if belongs to SC/ST), Non-Creamy layer certificate issued by Tahasildar(if belongs to OBC), Income & Asset Certificate issued by Tahasildar(if belongs to EWS), Disability certificate (if P WD) also to be furnished.

Note:

• The trainees will have no claim whatsoever for employment in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre or any other Centres/ Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/ Department of Space after completion of the training period.
• Those candidates whose details were sponsored by Employment Exchanges and already in receipt of the application forms for consideration against these training positions, need not apply again.
