Eligibility Criteria: Post Graduate in Science (Chemistry stream) / B.Tech Paint Technology / Diploma in Surface Coating Technology

Working Experience: >3 years in Paint testing in QA /QC Labs
Technical & Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of Paint, Test equipment handling, QC Tools , Quality Management System

Job Description

• Work on the routine analysis and testing for raw materials, Packing material, intermediate, finished goods in the lab
• Implement quality control procedures and policies according to BU standards to ensure that raw materials, packing material, finished / intermediate goods meet the production requirements and products satisfy customer expectations and achieve superior reliability.

Main Tasks

• To test samples of Raw Materials, Intermediates, in-process & finish product, and packaging material as per laid down specifications
• Testing of long-term evaluation properties like salt spray, humidity test, accelerated weathering and outdoor exposure etc
• Performing the PV testing received from various vendors /Customers
• Mobilizing, co-ordination, allocating, and optimizing various activities (men and resources) to achieve budgeted target with optimum resource
• Planning and organizing work and work efforts of the team effectively
• Ensuring safe work practices in day-to-day laboratory activities by adhering to PPE’s usages of the personnel and monitoring the work permit system
• Day to day co-ordination with Production Executives / officers
• To maintain strict discipline and safety during operations of tests
• To supervise the Quality Control activity for achieving good housekeeping
• To coordinate with maintenance dept. to carry out day-to-day maintenance jobs of the Q.C.
• Maintenance of records for Quality system requirements.
