Job Title: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. in Chemistry with NET/GATE Qualification
Experience: Two (2) years analytical experience or M.Tech in Engineering with GATE
Qualification with 1-year of experience

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
No.of posts: 10
Salary: Rs 38,800/- pm
Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. in Chemistry with NET/GATE Qualification or Engineering in any discipline with GATE Qualification.
General Conditions:
i) The number of posts likely to increase or decrease as per the requirement.
ii) Age not exceeding 32 years for Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) and 28 years for Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) as on the date of interview. The age criteria may be relaxed on special cases if arises.
iii) The above post is purely temporary and on a contractual basis. The service of the selected candidates
will stand terminated automatically after the completion of the period mentioned in the offer of appointment He/ She will not have any right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in regular vacancies of the Pollution Control Board, Assam.iv) TA/DA will not be admissible for attending the interview.
v) Recruitment shall be made through WALK-IN-INTERVIEW, however, relevant documents/mark-sheet including experience certificate would be verified and screening would be made. Candidates would be selected on the basis of PCBA Norms prescribed for the post applied for.
vi) The Board reserves the right not to fill up the post, if so decides, no correspondence/representation will be entertained in regard to the walk-in interview and/or selection.
vii) Candidates shall clearly indicate the name of the post for which they are appearing for the interview. Candidates can appear for more than one post. However the same should be indicated in the prescribed application format.
viii) While appearing for the interview, the candidates are required to submit an APPLICATION FORM (as per format) along with the self-attested copies of all degree/Academic Qualification certificates/ Mark fists/Experience Certificate, etc. should be attached with this form. Candidates will be required to produce the Certificates/testimonials in original at the time of interview.
ix) The last date of submission of duly filled application as per prescribed format shall reach on or before 24th March 2022 at Pollution Control Board, Assam, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati-21, Assam by Post/ DropBox (provided) in between 9.30 AM to 5.00 PM. The sealed envelope containing the application shall be superscribed with capital letters on the top with “Application for the post of
x) The experience specified above shall be the experience acquired after obtaining the basic/essential qualification for the post.
The shortlisted candidate shall be called for a personal interview
