Project Title: Design and Synthesis of Coordination Polymers for Proton Conduction

Project Tenure: 3 years
Job Description: JRF will carry out the work in the area of inorganic chemistry, where
synthesis, characterization, and applications of coordination polymers and metal-organic frameworks will be carried out. He/she will be exposed to the area of crystal structure analysis and structural elucidation using single-crystal XRD.
Elibgility Criteria: First class Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent + GATE/NET/NET-LS qualified.
Age Limit The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 as on the day on which the application is made. A small relaxation in the age limit may be considered, in the case of applicants who are
suitably qualified and experienced, on the recommendations of the selection committee. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.Fellowship: 31,000/-(initially first two years) + Rs 35,000 (afterward till the end of the
project). National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE
Registration for PhD.: Selected candidates will be given the opportunity for a full-time Ph.D.
program at BITS, Pilani as per the institute norms.
