BIT Mesra, Ranchi – Chemistry & Pharma Junior Research Fellow Post

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of
Biotechnology, Ramalingaswami project entitled “In-silico design and validation of
boronic acid-based molecules for the treatment of colorectal cancer: Computer-aided hit
to lead discovery” at Department of Bioengineering and Biotechnology, BIT Mesra,

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Number of Posts: One

Eligibility: Postgraduate Degree in Life Science/Physics/Chemistry/Pharmacy or computer
science/chemical engineering/biotechnology and related disciplines

Desirable:

(1) Qualified the CSIR- UGC, NET (including lectureship), GATE and other National level examinations

(2) Experience in Molecular modeling and MD simulations,

(3) Experience in Computer-aided drug design

Fellowship/month: Rs 31,000/- + applicable HRA as per DBT and BIT, Mesra rule.

Tenure: 1 year (Extendable up to 2 years subject to excellent performance and availability of Funds)

The appointment under this project is to be treated as temporary for two years subject to
