VIT Vellore Vacancies – Chemistry Junior Research Fellow Job

Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) Funded Project in School of Advanced Science (SAS), (01(3085)/21/EMR-II), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore.

Project Title: “Metal ion doped LnPO4 (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Gd and Lu) – Ecofriendly cool pigments for surface coating”.

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic/General/Materials) or M.Sc in nanotechnology with GATE / NET qualification.

Desirable (if any): Candidate with prior experience in Inorganic Material synthesis, Materials characterization (Powder XRD, XPS etc.) techniques, Surface coating will be preferred.

Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- per month (for the first and second year), and increased to Rs. 35,000/- (for the third year) provided the research progress has been found satisfactory by the Committee

Sponsoring Agency: CSIR, Government of India.

Duration :3 years
