Banaras Hindu University Jobs – Chemistry Project Assistant Vacancy
Applications are invited for the post of Project Assistant in a BHU, IoE seed grant (MoE India) sponsored project entitled “Toward the synthesis of β-lactam analogous: Exploring catalysis by organometallic nanoparticles” under the supervision of Dr. Vijay Kumar Das, Department of Chemistry, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Duration: The project is sanctioned for up to three years (from July 2020 to July 2023). The post is temporary and coterminous with the project.
Number of Position: 1 (One)
Qualifications: M. Sc. in Chemistry and allied subjects with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Desirable Working experience in Organic Synthesis, Nanomaterials, Catalysis/Photocatalysis/Organocatalysis NET /GATE qualifies a candidate.
Preference
M. Sc. with 75% marks or > 8.0 CGPA will be given preference.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years (5 years age relaxation for SC/ST/Physically
Handicapped/Female candidates) and government of India.
Salary: 8,000/ month (Consolidated).
